Smitten by Thee (part one)

Have you ever, in your life, meet a stranger so Beautiful & Such a Joy to Your Eyes that she literally sparks the protective nature in you into immediately wanting to protect her and look after her for the rest of your life?

WOW!!! That happened to me the day before.........for the very 1st time. It happened like this:

It was a Very WET day with heavy downpour.

Thus turning SINGAPORE into SINGAPOUR.

I was in the train to Harbour Front - wanting to check-out the new Vivo City.

Suddenly at Outram Station, in came this a VERY BEAUTIFUL & STUNNING female person. She was definitely among the Top-Ten of the Most Gorgeous Ladies ever created by Divinity.

This is NOT an exaggeration but a Real F-A-C-T.

She moved into the train & stood beside me.

She was alone.................me too......

With my jaw dropped, I was totally FROZE by the sight of her. She stunned me in BIG way.

Then there was ringtone of that song by the late Nat king Cole, "When I Fall in Love".

It was her phone that rang.

She answered (alamak sorrylah for the eavesdropping) and said, "For Pete's sake,I just wanna be alone, OK?"

Then she hung up and stare blankly with thoughts elsewhere.

I just felt like holding her in my arms and said "it's ok baby, I'm here to protect you........everything will be juz fine..."

But I FROZE.

She was not more than 19. And me 20. Alright, man.....a marriage in heaven?

What should I do? What should I do now?

Suddenly, out from my mouth came these words,"I LOVE.........Nat King Cole too".

She turned & looked at me up & down.

"Do you really?", she asked cynically.

“So what other songs by Mr Cole that you like? Enter Sandman?”

A sudden surge of anger erupted inside of me.

I looked her directly in the eyes and said, “Just a minute ago, you are like the Most Beautiful Person on this Earth I ever seen & I feel like wanting to love you & being with you till Kingdom Come. BUT now, I realize you just a Piece of Shit who judge a person by his looks.”

The Train Stopped.

HARBOUR FRONT Station, finally....

I quicken my steps out of the train.

Suddenly, I heard, “Care for some cuppa?”

I turned around & there she was.....smiling.

She walked to me & took my hand.

“Let’s go, cowboy….”
