We often encounter situations where a joke is told....and it is so NOT Funny. That's normal right?
But how about being in a situation where the person who is telling the joke is SOMEONE who we have some respect for....like our Grandparents, Mum/Dad-in-laws...or even the Boss...
If anyone of them, utters a perfectly LOUSY joke...
SO HOW DO WE REACT??
Can we laugh EVENTHOUGH the joke ain't funny?
Can we???
Just like the other day, when I was in a conversation with someone whom I respect and out of no rhyme and reason, he uttered:
"Do you know what mee (noodles) that tastes delicious with ice??"
Gosh..suddenly my brain started to spin at 5million RPM, wondering what this old man meant by that question....
So apologetically, I told him that I had no idea....
Suddenly out loud came that THUNDEROUS LAUGHTER...that might have put Marina Barrage into A SHAKE MODE...
I was so humiliated....really did not know what to do or say...My face felt the same way of BURN by Deep Purple.....and red as the devils, you might say...
Shortly then, the old man started to calm down & said...
"The answer is MILO?"
He then continued laughing & laughing...and in my heart....
only God knew.....
