By George, the current global economy crisis will test the moral character of Sporeans.

Who said that?

George Yeo lah... our Foreign Affairs Minister said yesterday.
He also mentioned that if there is a strong sense of mutual obligation, solidarity and affection, we Sporeans will not only able to pull through the crisis but will also emerge stronger and more united...

Alamak, I think everyone knows this lah...

My question is...what about now?
When people are struggling....even to put food the table.
How? How?

Can we know the numbers of households in Spore that got their electricity & water cut-off during these bad times? Number of people who got summoned to court for not paying their bills...??? Some even were put to jail when unable to pay...
REAL SAD lah....if don't believe just look at the queue during the Night Courts...

Yes, I agree that Spore is NOT a welfare state...& that Sporeans must be responsible enough to pay their bills...BUT to just cut the people's electricity & water supplies is just so CRUEL.....
What if there are babies or small kids in the house???
Do we even care if they have no water to drink???

I think before SP Services execute the electricity & water cut to any household, they should at least notify the CDC or any Self-Help Organizations of that Constituency. So that help can be rendered before any inconvenience of without electricity & water comes to effect...

PLEASE TOLONG...TOLONG....

Why should it end so suddenly...?

I really love Prison Break.

It is the only tv show that I follow religiously.

So when they showed this on the last episode of Season 4, I cried & cried...

So Sad, really...

Can she really act???

If she plays a role of a nun, I think nobody will ever notice her...

But I think by ridiculing Bay, she is doing herself a big disfavor....
